My little Cole is 5 weeks old today. He is starting to get control of his head. He is awake more often (about 3 to 4 hours a day). His eyes or very expressive and you can tell he is really starting to focus in on things around him and people who or holding him. He weighed 7lbs. 6oz. as of last week and he was 19 1/2 in. long. Cole is doing pretty good at night time. He only eats once a night at 2:00 a.m. and we are starting to wing him off that one. He overall is pretty easy going.

Snow day!!
I am sure a few of us will be blogging about the wonderful snow today. We really enjoyed it. It kinda made me feel like I was back in Virginia. I was so excited because I didn't know if the kids would ever see snow living here in LA, so as soon as I saw snow I bundled up the kids and went outside with the camera. They had a great time. Connor really wanted to have a snowball fight with his sister, but she was not fond of being hit with the snow, anyway they loved it and then we ran in and they took warm baths ate grilled cheese and we all snuggled up and watched a movie. It was a nice winter day!!

I'm baby kahlan!
Ever since I have been home Kahlan has been attached at the hip. I kind of expected her to go through some jealousy issues with Cole coming home, but I was not prepared for this. Not only is she attached to me at every moment, but she is also going backwards with her potty training all the sudden. I had read that might happen, but I was hoping not. The other day Kahlan climbed in my lap and started talking to me saying the following:
Kahlan: Mommy am I your baby kahlan
Me: No your my big girl kahlan that goes potty and helps mommy (trying to reiterate pottying)Kahlan: I am tired of being a big girl, I'm baby Kahlan!
Do you see what I am dealing with!! PRAY!!

Update!!
I am still working on getting the three kid thing down. Unfortuantly I am having to tell Connor and kahlan to wait alot. They seem to always need things when I am feeding or changing diapers. They or both really gentle with him, which is a relief. Cole had his first appointment with his pediatrician yesterday and all was pretty well. He is still 6 ounces less than his birth weight so we or going back next week for another weight check, but besides that we or just keeping on with the whole monitor and med thing. I guess thats it for now.

WERE HOME!!!

Me and Cole or finally home!!!!! I am so glad. I have missed my husband and my other two so much. Cole is doing well, he did come home on a monitor that will set off an alarm if his heart rate drops below a certain point or if he goes over fifteen seconds without taking a breath. He is also on some medication to help with those spells, but besides that he is wonderful. I feel so blessed to have him and the rest of my little family. Thankyou so much for all the prayers and phone calls and visits. They really kept me going. The pics above will show you Cole before and now so you can really appreciate how wonderful he looks! I look forward to seeing everyone as soon as we get the ok to get cole out!
